Description

CYCLOPENTADECANONE - FLAKES is a classic macrocyclic musk, belonging to the family of 15-membered ring ketones. Available in flake form, it is one of the first macrocyclic musks synthesized for perfumery. Its olfactory profile is musky, clean, and slightly woody, with a warm sweetness and great finesse. A precursor to modern musks, it is used in pure musk creations, soft ambers, and musky florals. Its solid (flake) form requires prior dissolution in an appropriate solvent. Perfumers appreciate it for its authentic musky character and its compatibility with many base accords.
