Description
Coriander essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of Coriandrum sativum seeds. Its olfactory profile is spicy, slightly sweet, and herbaceous, with a pronounced linalool note that gives it a distinctive floral sweetness. Both spicy and slightly earthy, it provides a unique aromatic warmth. Used in fougère, chypre, and floral-spicy accords, it supports cardamom and ginger accords. Its fresh, natural character distinguishes it from more dominant spices. Perfumers also use it in subtle oriental reconstructions and in contemporary green-spicy accords.
