CITRONELLAL is a synthetic raw material, from the citrus-green family. It has a fresh and slightly herbaceous citrus olfactory profile, with notes of citronella, slightly green lemon and a terpenic-aldehydic facet. A top note ingredient, it is used in citronella reconstructions, citrus-green accords, and aromatic freshness compositions. Its high volatility gives it a beautiful immediate freshness, to be dosed according to the desired citrus intensity.
