It has a rich balsamic amber olfactory profile with a slightly animalic-leathery nuance, featuring notes of natural labdanum, warm honey, dry resin, and a slightly smoky facet. Cistus absolute (labdanum) is fundamental in amber-oriental accords, chypres, and compositions with a luxurious natural amber profile. Its natural richness makes it a high perfumery ingredient.
