Description

Cinnamyl cinnamate is a synthetic raw material, from the spicy family. It has a balsamic-spicy and slightly balmy olfactory profile, with cinnamyl, storax balm notes and a subtle resinous-cinnamon facet. A base ingredient used as a fixative, it is naturally present in styrax and cinnamic resins. Its good substantivity and fixative role at the bottom of the formula make it a useful structural ingredient.
