Description

Citral diethyl acetal is a synthetic raw material from the hesperide family. It has a soft and slightly lemony citrus olfactory profile, with attenuated citral notes and a softer facet than free citral—acetalization reduces its irritating and sensitizing potential while preserving the lemon note. As a top note ingredient, it is used in citrus compositions and fresh-lemon accords as a safer alternative to citral. No known IFRA restrictions.
