CARAWAY ESSENTIAL OIL is a natural, Hungarian raw material belonging to the spicy family. It has a characteristic spicy and slightly sweet olfactive profile, with notes of roasted caraway (meadow cumin), anise, and a slightly earthy-terpenic facet. A top and heart ingredient, it is used in spicy-aromatic accords, gingerbread accords, and certain spicy oriental compositions. Its richness in carvone gives it its distinctive character—to be used in accordance with IFRA standards.
