QUINOLEINE BUTYL SECONDAIRE is a heterocyclic fragrance material from the family of leathery quinolines, offering a very characteristic and powerful leathery profile. Its olfactory profile is leathery, slightly animalic, and features a remarkable tanned leather depth, with the irreplaceable characteristic quinoline note found in great classic leather creations. Used in precise doses in leather accords, sophisticated chypres, and Russian leather-type compositions, it brings an authentic leathery animality. Its potency requires very expert dosing. It is one of the essential components of the great classic leather accords of 20th-century perfumery.
