BLACKCURRANT FLOWER BASE TYPE
Documents
Description
BLACKCURRANT FLOWER BASE TYPE is a reconstituted accord that reproduces the complex olfactory nuances of blackcurrant flowers and leaves (Ribes nigrum). Its olfactory profile is green, floral and slightly fruity, with the characteristic sulfuric-catty note of blackcurrant, light floral facets and a green bud freshness. Highly prized in contemporary perfumery since the 1990s, the blackcurrant-bud note is one of the most identifiable signatures of great modern chypres. It harmonizes with roses, peaches and green musks in sophisticated fruity-floral compositions. A versatile base for contemporary creations with a green-fruity character.
