Description

Oud Base is a reconstituted accord that replicates the complex olfactory profile of oud wood (agarwood, Aquilaria malaccensis), one of the world's most precious and coveted raw materials. Its olfactory profile is animalic, slightly leathery, and deeply woody, with the characteristic oud note—complex, slightly smoky, and of incomparable oriental depth. Used in oriental-woody creations of character, prestigious Arabian perfumes, and niche compositions with a strong oud identity, it provides an effective working base. It harmonizes with resins, musks, and spices in enveloping and highly distinctive oriental creations.
