The Fig base is a reconstituted accord capturing the unique olfactory complexity of the fresh fruit and leaves of the fig tree (Ficus carica). Its olfactory profile is green, slightly floral and fruity, with a milky sap note, green fig skin, and a natural fruity sweetness. This versatile base allows for the easy creation of authentic fig accords in green-fruity compositions, contemporary green-florals, and Mediterranean creations. It harmonizes with citruses, green musks, and aquatic notes. Particularly popular since the success of L'Artisan Parfumeur's Premier Figuier, the fig note has become a benchmark in modern perfumery.
