Description
Terpinyl acetate is a natural ester of terpineol (a monoterpenic alcohol) found in cardamom, Bergamot, and various resinous oils. Its olfactory profile is herbaceous-citrusy with slightly woody sage-lavender notes and a soft fruity-camphoraceous facet reminiscent of fresh cardamom and noble turpentine. In perfumery, it is used in aromatic-lavender accords, classic fougères, and fresh masculine formulas, bringing a natural dimension and a subtle herbal-spicy facet that pleasantly complements floral-aromatic hearts.
