Description
CUMINIC ALDEHYDE is a major component of cumin essential oil, responsible for its spicy and slightly herbaceous signature. Its olfactive profile is spicy, slightly anise-like and warm, with a softer, less body-like cumin facet than the complete essential oil. Used in spicy, oriental, and distinctive masculine accords, it brings a natural and authentic spicy note. It is also found in natural proportions in cinnamon and some citrus fruits. Perfumers use it with great precision for "souk" oriental accords and spicy-woody masculines.
