Aldehyde C12 lauric is a synthetic raw material from the aldehyde family. It has a clean-soapy aldehydic scent profile, with notes of clean linen, soapy citrus, and a light waxy facet characteristic of C12 aldehydes. A fundamental top ingredient in classic floral-aldehydic families, it is used in Chypres, Fougères, and large aldehydic compositions. Its potency requires very precise dosing at very low concentrations.
