Aldehyde C7 (Heptyl aldehyde) is a synthetic raw material from the hesperidic-green family. It has a fresh, slightly green-hesperidic aldehydic olfactory profile, with characteristic fatty-citrus notes and a terpene facet. It is a top ingredient in classic aldehydic compositions, hesperidic families, and clean-citrus accords. Its high volatility gives it an immediate impact – it should be dosed precisely, as short-chain aldehydes are very powerful.
