Description

Geranyl acetate is the acetic ester of geraniol, offering a fresh floral-fruity profile. Its olfactory profile is floral, slightly fruity, and fresh, with rose-lavender notes and a floral lightness superior to geraniol. Esterification provides greater volatility and a lighter, more fruity character than the parent alcohol. Used in fresh floral compositions, fougères, and fresh masculine and feminine fragrances, it brings a bright and airy floral note. It harmoniously combines with lavenders, geraniums, and fresh musks in classic and modern compositions. Naturally present in many flower essential oils.
