C08 OCTYL ALDEHYDE, or C8 aldehyde, is a synthetic raw material belonging to the aldehydic-hesperidic family. Its olfactory profile is hesperidic, slightly fatty, slightly lemony and aldehydic, bringing a citrus freshness characteristic of C-series aldehydes. It is used in classic aldehydic compositions, colognes and white florals. Usual dosage: 0.01 to 0.1%.
