Description
C10 DECYL ALDEHYDE, or aldehyde C10, is a synthetic raw material belonging to the aldehydic-hesperidic family. Its olfactory profile is fresh aldehydic, slightly hesperidic, orangey, and slightly fatty, characteristic of classic aldehydic perfumes. A historic ingredient in perfumery, it has been used since Chanel N°5 in aldehydic floral accords. Very powerful — usual dosage between 0.01 and 0.1% to avoid aldehydic dominance.
