Description

Phenylacetaldehyde extra is a synthetic raw material, of German origin, belonging to the floral-green family. It has a characteristic and intense floral olfactive profile, with notes of hyacinth, slightly honeyed green rose, and a herbaceous-aldehydic facet. A top and heart ingredient, it is used in hyacinth accords, green floral bouquets, floral chypres, and natural rose reconstructions. Very powerful and volatile, it is used in low concentrations — its chemical instability requires careful formulation and a good understanding of its optimal dilution.
