Description

Triethyl citrate is an adjuvant and diluting solvent from the citrate ester family. It does not have a significant olfactory profile of its own — it is a neutral and slightly fruity vehicle used to dilute highly concentrated raw materials, improve their solubility, and facilitate their handling. Its sensory profile is practically imperceptible under normal use. As a formulation ingredient, it is essential for the precise dilution of highly concentrated active ingredients (e.g., 1% in TEC).
